Several months ago I wrote about Julia Rose’s decision to discontinue her very popular website, Julia’s Horn Page. In honor of Julia’s many contributions to the horn playing community through her teaching, performing, and blogging, I have created a “Job Listings” page on my site similar to what Julia maintained on hers. There is a section for orchestral openings as well as academic openings, and several links to other resources at the end. In these difficult economic times, horn players on the job market need to be aware of every available resource. Some openings are posted in multiple places, but many times a position advertised in one publication will not appear in others. This page will be updated monthly.
